Hi all, can anyone recommend a good booster pack for starting cars, tractors etc. Budget would be under €250.

I recently bought one of these. Does exactly what is says on the tin. I thought the brand 'Streetwise' would be a bit shoddy, but the unit is excellent.

If you are looking for something more heavy duty I'd go for a Clark Jumpstart 4000.

It's a bit heavy and outdated looking but has a very decent starting amp output.

What kind of warranty comes with these?

The below seems like very good value.

I think the warranty on the jumpstart 4000 is 12 months from date of purchase but I'd need to check. You'd get one for around €200 - €220.

I've used mine a few times to jump my 3.5 v6 petrol engine and it's done it with ease.

It starts up to 6 litre petrol / 4 litre diesel. Check out the reviews on pistonheads - that's what influenced me to buy it as there is feedback from people with all sorts of cars - especially the big engined yokes like TVRs / Astons etc.

You can get them for 176 euro.
