House viewing tips (buying)

    Hi there, will be starting to view houses soon in dublin area and wondering has anyone whos recently gone through the same got any tips?

    Eg, what to look for in the house itself, dealing with estate agents, bidding wars etc

    Reading so.many horror stories lately im actually dreading it!

    1 look at the location. Local amenities and transport.links etc.

    2 look at the house itself. Aspect. Garden. Layout. Room dimensions.

    3 look at the things that can be changed but cost alot. Ie re wiring. Floors windows plumbing.

    4 disregard things that can easily be changed e.g. paint colours etc.
