    Hi

I'm looking to buy a 55 inch tv and wall mount. The mount needs to be able to come out a little and swivel.

I'd like something with really good definition, 4k? I dont think I'll reach the heady price heights of OLED though, for the moment they are a bit out of my range.

    Cheers!

    Hi RebelButtMunch,

If you are looking for a good 55" LED TV, the ones I would recommend would be the Sonys. There is a fantastic model, the KD55XE8596 at £879:

This TV has a great panel, fantastic motion processing and very natural colour and contrast. It also has an Android operating system. The OLEDs really are in a different league though as their contrast and brightness is unmatched by the LED TVs.

We stock Sanus cantilever brackets so I would go with the BLF213. They retail at £179 but I could do this for £145.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

Thanks David. Is it worth looking at the xe90?

    Hi RebelButtMuch,

The Sony 9 series is a superior panel as it has a direct lit backlight rather than edge lit however we are completely out of stock of these. They have now been replaced by the new Sony KD55XF9005 with upgraded processor at £1699:
