I've had two diesel Astra GTCs since 2012, I traded for the SRi spec in 2015. Been very happy with the two cars, neither have been any trouble. I'm looking to change later this year and want to get a few ideas. I've had my eye on the special edition which has another few upgrades over the SRi. I'm just wondering I am mad to buy something that is now end of line? It also has 20" wheels which look great, but maybe not that practical on Irish roads. I was thinking about the Toyota CH-R, but I hate the thought of the CVR transmission in the hybrid and the 1.2 petrol seems a bit underpowered (and relative to diesel) thirsty for my 100Km daily commute.

One other thing - I have a small dent in the door, about 5cm in diameter courtesy of someone who parked beside me. Will it generally be cheaper for me to fix it or leave it to the garage when trading in? Thanks...
