Would it be possible to get around on a mobility scooter?

Was on the Tor Mor last week - impossible to get on/off the ferry alone, have to go down stairs at the quayside and a couple of guys would be needed to take it on board - same difficulties on Tory side. On the island itself the roads are in good condition, look freshly redone, albeit single lane - could see it being difficult for cars to get past the scooter. The cliffs are not accessible by scooter, ground is rough, sometimes steep and stony, occasionally boggy.
