How to view texts in order of latest received

This is probably the wrong forum but my Vodafone Smart 4 won't show texts in order of the latest received - I think it's probably receiving them in alphabetical order (so I need to scroll through to see the last received texts - unread - in bold). I've checked the manual and googled it but can't find a solution. Any ideas?…
