Hi has anybody stayed at silk road camping for electric picnic, i'm just wondering what the set up is like, is there any facilities like cafe/bar, is it near the main area any tips or opinions.

    Thanks in advance

There’s no bar, but there is a complimentary coffee/tea tent set-up, and a few beanbags for charging your phone or using a hairdryer. The general ‘boutique’ camping area has a coffee/food truck going 24/7.

Access to the arena is typically via a handy lane that goes in beside the eco village - until the security finally get informed that this shouldn’t be used by boutique campers - then you’ll have to go through the worst of hotpantsmageddon camping and the bottleneck of the main security lanes to get into the arena. Getting back out to the camping (using the eco village gate) usually remains handy enough for the whole weekend. Pink Moon campers get a better deal on access into the arena tbh.
