Men - What shoe size are you??

Bit of a random thread but I'm just wondering what shoe size you all are?

I'm 5'7.5 (nearly 5'8) and my shoe size is 10 which I think is quite big for my height although in the context of all men I think its probably bang average. A lot of guys round my height seem to be an 8 or 9.

There's some correlation between height and shoe size and a recent study in the US found the ratio of your height in inches typically followed the ratio of 6.6 inches of height to every 1 inch of foot length.

My foot length is 27.3cm/10.75 inches which would normally correspond to a foot length of a 5'11 guy.

Size 10, sometimes 11, depending on the type of shoe.

I'm only 5ft 7, so yeah... big clown feet.

Size 14 but they don’t fit very well.

I would expect there to be more size 12's and 13's than size 7's. I don't think I know anyone with size 7 feet.

    Depends on the shoe type.

I'd be better in a half size or EU size than whole number UK ones.

I think people should include their preferred lacing method. eg heel lock or criss cross etc.
Also whether you keep your socks pulled up or let them roll down around your ankles.
If you're right footed do you put on your right shoe first? Or vice versa.
Or maybe you follow an irregular pattern of which shoe to put on first

    7/8 depending.
Whats the point in this (or smaller) (or bigger) nonsense though?
I thought you could have 20 options.
    Dreadful poll.

Oh is it really that bad? My apologies. :(

To be fair we're not idolising dictators like Putin or complaining about evil asians and their grooming gangs against poor whitey's.

So its bad but there are worse (I think).

I'd like to know what you're all about?
    What's up there?
Are you gonna get old and laugh?
    Without a care
Will you get you a boy or a girl
    Or not either?
Will you get what you want from this world?
    A day dreamer?

Then I watch the old couple dance
Step on my old size nines and I'll take you 'round

    Dreadful poll.

Smaller than 7 or bigger than 14 would be shoe sizes that would be very rare.

I've noticed in some polls (especially in AH) a significant proportion don't take the poll seriously and muck about in it (duh), for example when asked about how old people were on here, someone did a poll and included ages up to 85+ and that option got 15% of the vote, which of course is complete nonsense. So I decided to avoid giving extreme options so trolls wouldn't come in and wreck the poll.

You're right on reflection I could have (and probably should have) given half sizes, but I'm not sure how common half sizes are amongst the general population? So I thought it was a bit of a waste of time.

This isn't meant to be some detailed survey, its a just rough approximation to see what shoe sizes were the most popular, what the average was, its not meant to be overly scientific. :D

I'm a 13. It's an absolute pain in the bollocks because most shoe manufacturers think men's feet magically stop growing at size 12.

What if your feet are two different sizes? I said 9 since that's what I buy, but I know I could get away with an 8 on my right foot. And this on someone 6' tall in thick socks. :o

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Is a random topic about shoe size so unheard of?

They've been a few on boards on the past:

I'm a teetotaler btw, and as far as I know I think I'm sane.

    13.

There is no correlation between shoe size and penis size unfortunately. If anything it is an inverse relationship.

    If I had size 13 feet I wouldn't be saying that. :D

But yeah your right, its a load of crap, there is a supposed to be a weak correlation with height though.

Scientific fact : as you age your shoe size increases.

Jury still out on the effect of age on "the other measurement".

Despite having the validity of the thread and my mental health questioned we have appeared to have accumulated the best part of 200 votes. The bell curve suggests you've also answered my poll honestly.

    Extra medium...

About 10.25 and 10.75 which means either 10's or 11's will fit depending on the shoe.

You shouldn't be skimping on shoes if you are size 12

You will pay for it long term

    I'm a 7, sometimes an 8.

My Dad's size is 7 and my Grandad was a size 7 too.

Nobody in my family surpasses 5 ft 8" in height.....all smaller feckers

I'm 5ft 6" and so is my Dad

....and everything else is well sized too, it's not all about the size, it's how well you use it :P

I like a strawberry flavored humming noise. I will use the freeware version if I have to though. Even though there's a lot of malware bundled.
