BOSH Washing Machine Classi xx 1000 not spinning

    Hi Folks,

    Well, have a question for those who might fix these washing machines...

    I've been having intermittent problems with some of the cycles where the spin , sometimes, fails to work at the end of the cycle.
    Now, usually we've been able to manually put it on the 'spin' cycle to dry out the clothes a bit.
    This has been going on a good few months.
    However, now, going to the spin fails to work, the pump can be heard but the drum fails to revolve at all on the spin cycle. Apart from that the whole cycle works fine.
    Could this be a dry joint on the circuit board behind the control panel? The motor etc is fine.
    This machine is about 13 years old!
    Has anyone had a similar kind of fault. I'm a techie by trade so not afraid to look at this...

    It could possiblt be something to do with it not draining, due to obstruction or problem at the drain pump, amongst other things.
