Ok obligatory DNA testing for all!
Did the ancestry one a while back and not even the Viking / Normans etc even got as much as a look in whatsover - reckon I qualify at 100%

You really are obsessed with this issue. People would have much more objection to your sincerely stated belief that the English "civilised" the Irish and your relentless admiration for the British monarchy than they'd have even a second thought for your "planter surname". Get over it.

As someone whose mammy comes from one of the oldest clans and a recent dna test states am 96% Irish I am as good as it gets.

Please ignore the Anglo Saxon surname and 1% Turkish blood that gives me my blue eyes and black hair.

Oh and Happy feckin Paddy's p!ss up day to ya from Malaysia.

    Love it!

I deeply regret delving into my own substantial Irish ancestry and largely disown it - but not ireland...
