Will I get paid for my PwC internship??

Part of my degree requires us to spend 3rd year on placement in a company. I was fortunate enough to be interviewed for and offered a role in the recruitment department of PwC starting June 2018 until June 2019.
Now that I've actually gotten thr position, I'm doubting myself as to whether I'll be paid for this. I know that the summer interns are paid for the few months they are there, however there was no mention of a salary in the job description and I didn't think it would be smart to bring up payment during the interview.
Has anyone done/ know anyone who has done a year long placement in PwC? Were they paid?

    Any information appreciated, cheers.

I did a placement with PwC as part of my degree and I got paid. Not particularly well mind, but certainly enough to cover living expenses.

Of course you'll be paid. You're doing a year of work for them and despite how it feels, trainee accountants and accountancy students aren't actually slaves.
