VPN for Sky Ireland

I have a regular paid Sky Ireland subscription, but I live abroad. I want to purchase a VPN router so that I can get the catchup services. If I connect with a VPN with a server in Belfast can anyone tell me whether this give me both the Irish and UK catchup services?

No you only get either or, catch up on sky is based on your subscription.
