Frame size - L v's XL

    Hey folks,

    any sizing experts out there ?? looking for advice.

    looking at buying a planet x ec-130.

    theres a large for 620 , or the XL is 930....

    in terms of geometry :

    L : top tube 57 cm & seat tube 54
    xL : top tube 59 cm & seat tube 55

    i'm 6' 2.5.

    my wallet obviously wants the Large.
    any thoughts in terms of making it work ?

    Size L will be a good fit for you. XL where the top
    Tube is 59cm would be way too big for you.

    It’s easier to make a small frame ‘fit’ than one that’s too big.

    Would agree, that XL looks like a monster frame. You'd fit the L far better.
