Were the guards ever called after a boards post saying something to the effect of "Sure feck it those child seats in cars are only a waste of time, I usually just throw the child in the boot for a more peaceful journey" Plenty of stories of it happening to Facebook, muppets posting pictures and videos of doing things they shouldn't and getting arrested soon after. I just wonder has it ever happened to boards?

*I don't have any child to throw into the boot, so good luck to anyone trying to report me

Boards has been sued a few times for defamatory comments as far as I am aware so I would be careful

I remember a few years ago in a "weird night you had out" thread or some such somebody was boasting about how he had raped a girl in I think Dublin, then left her house and broke into a JCB to sleep in. Mods fairly quickly took action but not idea if it was referred on to the Gardaí or if any action beyond a banning was taken.

I once colluded with the Russians.

I say once, I mean constantly

Bob Muller does not one single fuck give. He doesn't come here any more as he kept getting banned for threatening to kick people in the face

No, but could I get in trouble Minority Report style for the future murder of a painfully unfunny boards poster!?

I recently admitted to knocking the wing mirror off an illegally parked Range Rover, many years ago. Some posters on here got really upset and the Garda Emergency Response Unit called to my house the next day. They had the gaff surrounded, but I tried to escape via the back garden and over the wall. In the end, they tasered me and that was that. I'm doing a five-stretch in the Joy at the moment. Posting this from a smuggled phone.

There was a thread in the prison forum where the dude was going like (to the mods/admins) 'I'M GONNA KILL YOU GET READY MUTHA****ER I'M GONNA KILL YOU AND YOUR WHOLE FAMILY GET READY I'M COMING FOR YOU' then tried to claim he was joking or some ****, then Gordon said he was passing it onto the gardai. Don't know if he did.

An ex-colleague of mine was off sick from work for months. He posted a picture of himself on boards which showed he wasn't suffering from the thing he claimed. Got fired.

I admitted that I could believe that it's not butter. I've been a social pariah ever since.

    There was this one:

    https://www.herald.ie/news/leaving-cert-cheat-in-hot-water-27876690.html
One Leaving Cert student is creating a stir after boasting that he cheated in the exams on one of the country's most popular websites.

The user, Salman85, started a discussion thread on the Leaving Cert section of boards.ie entitled: "Cheated my ass off and didn't get caught".

The student, who in earlier messages says he studied in Cork, said that he "had a fully programmable calculator with a one gig flash card, my examiner was a dope".

It relates to this thread and caused a bit of a stir at the time!

Former colleague joined work on the same day as me. After 2 months he kept complaining that boards wouldn't work for him. Only his PC. Everyone else in the company was fine. He was convinced something was wrong with his - multiple resets and restores for 2 years. After he left, another colleague admitted he blocked boards cause he was spending too much time on it!
