Theft etc - District Court

    Hi all,
looking for some advise - Someone I know (yes really...!) is being charged with theft and fraud next week in relation to the theft of monies and items from a garda station. Given the monies were in the station as part of the evidence and also items were either handed in as lost and or part of items recovered what is a possible outcome here?

    - Items taken were posted for sale on a Irish trading site!
    - photos of money taking were on the phone with knowledge between partners that said monies were taken illegally!
    -

    would they be bailed?
when it goes to court could they be jailed or a suspended sentence?

    thanks in advance

Can't give legal advice, but to answer the query in the thread title:-

Twice as long as half its length.

    Hope that helps :)
