Claud Butler Dalesman Touring Bike, size 22" (56). Should suit a rider from 5 foot 9 to 6 foot 1. Genuine touring bike. Pictured with pedals and pannier bag which are not included in sale.

    - Steel bike with pannier racks + mudguards + fittings for 3 bottles
    - Approx 10 years old (I bought it second hand 5 years ago)
    - 27 gears. Shimano Sora front mech (48/36/26). Deore rear mech (30-11).
    - Shwalbe Marathon 32 tyres
    - cantilever brakes
    - STI gears (i.e. on brake levers)

Here is a link with a review of it (and full specs). The bike on the document is the exact model and year as the one for sale

(note: this doc compares 3 bikes, go to page 3 for details on the Claud Butler)

It would make an excellent commuter bike as it is practically bomb-proof. Very low maintenance bike as the parts are built to last. Cassette and chain recently replaced and tyres have another 3k-5k left in them too.

The frame is in good condition, no rust but some flaking of the paint. It has one small dent on the top tube (close-up photo below), but other than that no dents / scratches.

Would you be heading to Waterford, or even Youghal anytime soon? I’d be very interested in taking it.

    Thanks
