Not really. I avoid using the REx.

    17.3kWh down from 18.8kWh new.

Wow that's damn good, probably helped by the active cooling and/or the Samsung cells are good.

I've used about 2 tanks (16 litres) since the 2nd week in November.

here's some interesting facts I just discovered about the 96 AH ( 33 Kwh) i3 battery and I now know why it's limited to 50 Kw on DC which is actually more then the recommended charge current !

    https://pushevs.com/2017/02/20/details-samsung-sdi-94-ah-battery-cell/

It's all about cycle life and these cells ,3,200 cycles to 80% is truly amazing and should last many, many years.

For instance that, 510,000 Kms to 80% capacity, 160 Kms range by 3,200 cycles absolutely amazing. Yes I know, it doesn't include time itself etc or time spent at very high or low SOC etc.

But, it also doesn't include shallow cycling or all the driving done that doesn't include a full charge/discharge cycle, yes I know it won't allow a complete charge to 4.2v per cell either or down to 3.2 v etc.

Shame we don't have the data on the 60 ah.

In other I3 news, today I learned that while McLaren have no plans to make a full EV supercar (sticking to hybrids), their Global Director drives an I3 as his every day car! :)

Any half decent car will degrade your wallet the newer it is, only die one mate, can't take the money with you ! :D

Besides, used Ev values are only going to go in one direction and it's not down. Especially after brexit the 2nd hand values will rocket, believe me. Only for the U.K 2nd hand values would be a lot stronger but there are hints of use ev values getting stronger anyway.

Yeah, I have just over 9% capacity loss after ~160,000km. The warranty kicks in at 30% capacity loss.
My i3 is pretty much worst case scenario, plenty of hard acceleration and rapid charging.

Thats very good, especially with your use

Guess the liquid cooling pays off

If it keeps that loss, will make 500k with just less than 30% loss

I thought the i3 doesn’t let you use the full capacity so you shouldn’t see a range reduction at 91%. Do you see any difference in range? What do you use to measure degradation?

AFAIK I3 is 22kw with only about 19kw accessible.

You can access the battery temp and capacity in a "secret" menu but probably just like the Leaf this can very +- about 5-7% but if it's consistently getting 9% then it would be safe to assume it's correct.

And no the i3 doesn't allow you use 100% capacity but capacity loss could be higher if it didn't hide some of this.

160K Kms and fast charged to death isn't too bad but similar has been observed with leaf 24 Kwh taxis in the U.K, the 24 Kwh Leaf doesn't charge very fast on DC though.
