Quarq DFour with Shimano Dura Ace 9000 rings (52x34 - can do 36 if preferred)... BB30 axle. 11 months old, used for 1 spin here and 400km in Gran Canaria earlier this year. Condition is as new, zero marks. 700 euro.

Concept CPX 27.2mm carbon di2 seat post (Came on a Focus Izalco Max) - 40 euro.

Vitus 797 54cm, 90s machine... Gipiemme Tecno 40mm deep sections, New old stock Dura Ace 7400 groupset. Chrome colour. 700 euro.

I am also going to be shortly stripping some as new Dura Ace 9000 callipers from a couple of bikes : 120 euro a pair. And maybe a set of 9070 mechs, again, low mileage as new condition : 400 euro a pair.

    Pictures to follow.

Would you sell either the 34/36 chainring separate?

Afraid not, it would leave me with an incomplete crank.

€100 for a set of the 9000 calipers & I will cover postage or meet you ? PM me if interested.

Fixed prices on the calipers folks... they are half of current retail and as good as new. Items based in Waterford, postage extra (included on powermeter and mech set)

Only swaps I am interested in are a set of Sram red 22 (current model) calipers in perfect unmarked condition. Although try me if you think you have something high end and exotic enough to interest me.

Did you have to do anything out of the ordinary to get 52x34 to work on the FD?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,183 ✭✭✭Quigs Snr

Nope. Works perfect. I use that combo on a handful of my collection.. all running without issues in the following combos (standard short cage mechs in all cases):

Quarq w dura ace rings on a focus izalco max with dura ace 9070 di2.

Quarq w dura ace rings on a pinarello f8 with dura ace 9070 di2

Power2max with rotor aero rings on a cervelo s5 with dura ace 9070 di2

Power2max with rotor aero rings on an sworks roubaix sl4 with dura ace 9000 mechanical.

Nice. It's a combo I hadn't entertained. By the same logic I assume 53x36 would be no problem either.

Yep.. running a 53 x 36 on an old cervelo s1 on the turbo all winter.. and a 55 x 39 on a cervelo p5. The modern mechs are pretty good in this regard.

Where are you based ? Just wondering if the seat post is for di2 only, I have a focus cayo so may suit.

Waterford but can post. The seat post will fit in any frame that takes a 27.2mm post... the di2 hardware is just there in the event that you want to mount a battery inside it.

I used to have a Cayo.. the earlier models up until about 2013 or thereabouts took a wider 31.6mm post. The newer ones take the 27.2.
