Google app - Clock tuner (timing machine on your phone)

Have tried a number of timing apps (free) and decided that this one works the best (paid app and a bit costly at €5.99).

I've put various watches on it and you get a pretty auto detection of beat and display of the rate, the deviation and a spot graph. The results can be emailed or exported out of the app pretty easily too.

You can even use it for free if you install and uninstall and reinstall (the first 30 minutes of full use is free). But I found it useful enough that I was willing to throw it the 6 euro (one less orange mocha frappuchino - kudos for spotting the reference :D )

It worked fine just using the phone's microphone but I've also used it with an external microphone that I've had lying around and the beat seems to be spot on (my new Speedmaster is running at a constant +11s dial up for example).

If anyone is looking for a timing app (I've used wildspectra in the past but didn't find it too reliable) give clock tuner a look - it's free to use for 30 minutes anyway.
