Boredom

Anyone ever just bored with their life's, not unhappy just wanting a but if excitement.

I'm very happy with who I am, I've great friends & family but every day is the same.

My job for one's mind numbing, it takes a lot to fill the day. I've asked for extra responsibility / more work etc. My boss is a micro manger and control freak.
I've done courses, and I'm trying yo get out but unfortunately there's is many jobs where I'm from or even within a driving distance.
The people I work are toxic and I find I have to hold my tongue a lot.

Everything just feels mundane, I can't even find the motivation to go too the gym, and I love working out.

Currently, I'm single and I'm okay with that I'm sure I'll find someone.

Ive registered to volunteer, sent adhoc emails etc around the countyr but no luck yet!

I've joined clubs, meet ups and their all great, I've made some great friends through them.

I just feel like I need a but if excitement, something new

Maybe if I could get a new job my ficus would change.

I'm quite a positive person and tend to look at the positive side of every situation. It's just the boredom is being aided by my lack of motivation.

    Anyone else or advice?

    Thanks

I feel the exact same. In a dead end job, I'm the office scapegoat, going absolutely nowhere. Need something new. So I applied for the Canadian working holiday visa. It's something to look forward to and I know there's an end in sight.

Is this a personal issue or a job issue?if it is a personal issue make a change. Go traveling and supplement income with teaching English. Do it if you have no ties.

Maybe don’t go to places with large Irish communities as while it may feel comfortable it may be exactly the same at home. Go places where you are the only European/Irish/whatever and make memories and have stories that none of your friends will ever have.
