Low dust brake pads - for VW

An Indy fitted rear pads to my Passat about 20,000km ago, they have been terrible for dust, much worse than the originals (VW OEM) and worse whatever brand they put on the front. They are now making a grinding noise under braking so probably shot.

Any recommendations for new pads that are low dust?

Over the years I have found Delphi pads to be the least dusty with EBC being ridiculously dusty even on the rear.

Cheers, can't find Delphi online, any idea who stocks them?

You've answered the question yourself , buy pads at your local parts department.

Many motor factors will have Delphi pads
I think that Fast Fit may have them but ring and ask

If your rear pads need replacing after 20000km, either you're braking a lot, the pads were real rubbish, or your calliper is sticking - not unheard of in the Passats.

Judging by the amount of dust I suspect the pads are crap, but will get the calipers looked at when they are changed.

Check that your calipers aren't sticking. Whenever you come home after a 20-30 min drive park up at the house and feel each of the alloys on the car. If the calipers are sticking the rear wheels will be have a much higher temperature than the fronts.
