Just wondering anyone know if you can replace a bxe engine with an older 100 or 130 bhp engine?

I turned this into a new thread, the old one was ancient.

I think there's another engine code that is a direct replacement for the BXE, it's possibly BLS?

You can but needs a few mods, A hole needs to be drilled & tapped for a bolt to fit a crank sensor iirc.

    Google says BKC. :)

However there are some posts mentioning also BVK, BMT, BUK, BLT and even AXR and ASZ. Not so direct though. ;)
