Kiln dried Firewood delivery - gravel driveway

    Does anyone know of a supplier who will deliver kiln dried hardwood to a house with a gravel driveway?

    I made the mistake of not checking delivery info on a previous order. The courier couldnt operate the pallet on gravel so couldn't leave the pallet in the garage. It was a large order and I didn't want it left in the driveway and have to move the logs by hand into the garage so I sent the order back and took a hit on the delivery charge.

    Just wondering what others with gravel driveways do? It must be a common problem. Do I just need to suck it up and move the logs by hand or are there couriers who can deliver and maneuver a pallet of logs on a gravel driveway?

    put down a sheet of ply and get them to bing a pallet car. drop the bag or crate onto the ply and away you go

    Thanks but I'll need too much ply! Actually I've come across some suppliers who deliver 15kg net bags. I'll order from one of them and then carry them into the garage
