    Very unlikely someone will have one of these as they’re not common down here at all. I’m sure they’re much less risky than a diesel and they seem to have a timing chain so no short belt intervals like older GM petrols. Maybe check if there are any engine issues with similar generation Astras as I’d say the 1.8 sold more on them than the insignia.

    Thanks for your reply colm_mcm. Is there any reason that their not common or is it just because that model isnt sold down south?

    We got mainly diesels because of the way VRT and annual tax became cheaper in 2008 so the cars in that class would have been predominantly sold in diesel.
