I have a 20 odd year old electric guitar (Ibanez rx-150) one of the intonation screws on the bridge is gone and i need to replace it - Ibanez dont make the guitar anymore and they dont sell the part on their spares site - anyone have any idea where i should start looking
i have already check amazon and ebay but im not sure what the right screw would be
    any help appreciated!!

Measure one of the other screws for thread diameter and length, then go to a hardware shop. If you're in Dublin, there's one on Capel St, otherwise ebay it.

I'd imagine these might work https://www.allparts.com/GS-0004-005-Pack-of-6-Steel-Bridge-Length-Screws_p_1701.html

As above. What you’re looking for is ‘a screw’. Ibanez didn’t have special screws specially designed for their hardware. Take one of the others out, pop into a hardware shop, and ask for ‘one of these, please’.

Looks like you need a spring too, but I'd say one out of a pen would probably do the trick (possibly cut a bit short [watch for a sharp end if you do that]).

    hi biketard
luckily i still have the spring its in a box for now so i dont loose it.
i have ordered some screws from ebay - hopefully they are the correct size.

i checked local hardware stores and music shops and no one stocked screws of the correct size.......

Ahh, that's good with the spring. Good luck with the replacement screw!
