    Some help please.

I have an old Dell Vostro 1000. Its Windows Vista Home Basic.
Ive not used it in years and I want to see if I can set it up mainly for surfing the internet for my mam.

Ive no idea what the password is though. Ive tried google searches and youtube vids all evening but to no avail.

When I boot in Safe Mode there is no option for Administrator and it just brings me to the password for the user.

Am I doing something wrong? Can I access it?

Is there any point in trying to get it working? It must be 10 years old at this stage!

    Many thanks.
