Serving Legal papers from abroad

    hi,

    if someone from outside the state wants to serve papers on someone in Dublin, and knows where the person works, can they get a member of the public to serve the papers?

    I know about process servers and their fees, hence why I asked if a member of the public could serve the papers!!!!
