My sister is wanting me to spray her kitchen and will be buying the kit and compressor but need to know which one to buy. Her husbands cousin has an old aldi one there but we dont know if this would be up for whats needed so dont mind spending a few euros on buying new

the main thing with any compressor is that it has to be able to maintain pressure above the working pressure required

simple explanation if your spraygun needs a constant air pressure of 30psi your compressor has to be man enough for the job

if you go below the pressure required your spraygun will splutter and ruin whatever panel you are spraying

I think you can hire them might be an option

Have you looked at the HVLP paint sprayers

In order to operate it, you need to know about the 2 things from the air compressor specifications.
One is the level of air pressure that the air compressor is capable of delivering and the other is how fast this air flows through the nozzle of the air tool.Yhr importance of pressure required for spray painting is relatively low compared to CFM because spray painting and airbrushing is more about volume.

You should go for the HVLP Paint spray.

I know nothing about them. Is there any you could recommend .

Is it a new build? It can be very hard not to get overspray with a compressor and airgun, so if the floor and cabinets are already in, id be contemplating a roller and paintbrushes
