Bulling heifers

Have some heifers which I will be starting to AI at the end of the month. They are a mixture of hex out of dairy cows and some limousines which were sucks. All around 18-20 months old. Plan is to sell in sept / oct as scanned in calf animals.
My question is this, apart from the obvious angus straw, how much of a risk would it be to give them some other breed. Coming from a dairy background it was always an angus for the heifers. Ill probably be selling them local so I don't want people coming back complaining.

Around here they’d be getting angus or easy calving lim. I know a few that went saler but didn’t go back. I gave a Black lim going bk to fresian a part straw but I kinda regret it now. On red lims they make nice cattle and good replacements but black will leave them a horrible colour. One will hardly do much harm though

A limo is definitely the best option, I know in the Mart’s around here that lads are put off by aa in springers. Having an ai certrather than a stock bull when selling adds 50 to the price in most cases. At 18-20 months you should have brave animals. Selling in October to calve next feb you’ll be talking around 1k animals, I doubt it’s the best move ai Ing them.
