    Hi folks,

Neighbour wants me to share the cost of building a party wall. I'd like to have some idea of costs without getting my own quotes. ( I think he intends on doing the labour himself )

Its really just building up the existing wall to 1.8 meters.
Standard bricks about 25 to 30 m long.

Any idea of the costs - materials and labour

    Many thanks

Which type of bond are you using?

I'm sure you know that a 1.8m wall requires more substantial foundations and footings than a .4m wall.

I got a quote for a 2m high stone wall with 900w x 300d foundation and 18" block work to ground level.

Thanks for all the info lads -
He is going to be building the wall, or at least looking after managing the building of it.

I am looking for a rough guide (if even a per sqm) cost for a normal boundary wall.

    thanks

I was quoted €1500 for 2 garden walls.
Both 6m long and 1.2m high. That price included foundations.

Labour only. Materials and waste disposal was for me to sort out on top.
