    Can you get this if you are already on eir? This is the same old meteor deal that used to be €30, but there was a way to text to get it for €20. Savage deal I'll be watching this closely

    A friend has got the deal today, they switched from 3 though. I'd say you have to switch but I'm not sure.

    i hope is not that " 30 day rolling contract " 15 euro for 6 months and 30 euro thereafter ;
    Up to eir mobile offer, i was under impression that 30 day rolling contract means you can always cancel with a 30 day notice ;
    If you ask the rep if you can cancel in the 6th month , he will tell you there's minimum contract of 18 or 12 months , depending how you ask, and what details you want to find out.
    After "48 months" unlimited whatsapp only for chat/messages BUT NOT for voice on the app, i thought i heard it all ; but no, eir comes and brings new meaning to the << 30 day contract >>

    I'm still waiting for a decent mobile company to charge me 10cents/minute if i call a different network . Although the inter-network cost is only 0.82 euro cents, they charge people 30-45 cents a minute . [ And yes , the major netwoks will charge you same amount if you call within same network, although the cost is under half cent ]

    What's the regular price after 6 months? Can't see it mentioned anywhere there.

    €25 for Eir customers after 6 months.

    €30 for non-Eir customers after 6 months.

    I got this but didnt quite understand

    Can you cancel before the price balloons?

    Will eir still maintain the old Meteor offer where you get all this for €20?

    25 is the normal price for this if you are an eir customer. I was in the emobile 24 per month for unlimited everything + 5gb of data but changed to this deal a while back. Was 15 euro for 6 months and 25 there after at the time for eir customers, now slightly better at 10 for first 6 months. Great deal for 25 euro never mind the cheap first 6 months.

    The legacy meteor deal I found on here is €20 for free calls, texts and 15gb. That's what I'm still getting anyway. I hope they don't discontinue it

    there's always a catch... Sorry to get hopes up. The guy confirmed when I asked that it he was told it was for 6 months but its a rolling contract and they will more than likely Continue the price because you can leave if they don't. Who knows now. Proceed with caution I guess.

    Switched today 3 numbers from id to eir.. 15 euro a month for 12 months then 30 but can cancel then.. Of course porting isn't going as planned.. It's an id customer only offer

    Is it a multiline port? As in were the numbers on the same account? Or going on to the same Eir account? Those sort of ports tend to take a minimum of 24 hours to complete.

    Nope it was three individual id accounts to one eir account.. Was promised it be few hours max.. I'm guessing I'll be phoning Monday morning

    So can anyone confirm how long the contract actually lasts? Sim only usually means 30 days notice, but the suggestion seems to be that this could be a long term contract.

    30 day rolling contract 15 euro for first 12 months 30 after

    Im already an Eir 20E a month for unlimited calls texts and 15gb data, so I would get this for 15 for 6 months then back up to 30E, so after a cheap 6 months would wind up paying more than I had b4....usual Eir con job, cheap at start but pay in the long run, service has gone to hell as well, not to mention the crap customer service.

    Virgin mobiles unlimited offer seems better. 12€ for first few month, then €25 thereafter. 30gb data, no “unlimited social” though as far as I can see. Also 6.8gb of eu roaming data

    I called to ask yesterday and they said you need:
    - ID (passport or driving licence)
    - bank card

    You don't need a utility bill any more as they use the bank card as your proof of address.

    You'll also need to be able to show them an id bill I think. I logged in at the store.

    can you avail of the offer if you are already a prepay customer of Eir ?
