Cppu gppu eppu old watch.

    I picked up an old wind watch from a friend as far as I can see the name is written in italics and is CPPU GPPU OR EPPU. The workings in the watch are I am told high class. Anyone ever hear of these watches.

    On very old watches the name on the dial may be the name, or acronym , of the retailer and not the make of the watch.
    Have a look at the movement and see are there any markings on it - they will be more telling.
    Or post a pic of he movement on here and someone may recognise.
