    Hi can you get life insurance if you had cancer a couple of years ago , what's involved do they need a gp health check thanks

    You declare it and let the insurance company decide. It's going to depend on what type of cancer it was, how long since you got the 'all clear' and the requirements of the insurance company(ies) you're seeking quotes from. So impossible to give you a definitive answer.

    You may we’ll be covered for everything except cancer which is a reasonable approach with a prior history
