Self Assessment - ITSA layout

    Hi,

    I am studying accountancy and trying to get my head around the Self Assessment - Chapter 4 ITSA document. There are none that I can find online to peruse, for obvious reasons, which makes it more difficult to know where to find things.

    For example, on Page 1 Amount of Tax paid directly to the Collector Genreral - does this appear anywhere else in the document like the other figures (such as USC, PRSI ETC)?

    Same for the Section Amount of Surcharge due to S 1084 LPT Requirements - do the figures here appear anywhere else?

    I'm asking as the sample copy I have has these at zero, but on page 2 at the bottom it says

    Amount of Tax payable for this period xxxx

    Balance of tax payable for this period xxx

    I'm guessing of there were any figures for the LPT or Director General they may appear here?

    Thanks in advance, I am just the type of person who cant understand any of it until I understand all of it

    Hi Cupcakes, looking at previous ITSA documents, the layout changed in this respect in 2016. In 2015 the amount payed to date only appeared on page 1. I believe in 2016 it appears on page 1 and 2 (at the bottom where you suggested it would appear). How it is written on page 2 (Less Tax Received, LESS Amount paid to Collector General etc) I do not know as I always paid in a lump sum at the end.
