    Hey All.

I am not sure if there is a discussion on this already, But I am just wondering if I can apply to have a Mast on my land to get better Internet?
at the moment I have very bad broadband, I am just wondering if it is possible to contact Vodafone or Eir or any of the big Internet providers and offer up a part of my land so My area can have super fast Broadband?

any info on this would be great
    Thanks,
    F

Masts dont give super fast broadband, they get you "midband" or broadband lite edition. Fibre is what you want.

    Are you on this map?

Nope, closest Fibre Broadband is about 5 miles away from me,  what can I do to get fibre broadband in my area? can I apply or offer them to use my land so it can be set up?

    Thanks,

Your land is only useful if its quite elevated. Few people live on barren hilltops that suit high sites (but maybe you're a farmer with a big chunk).

NBP should be your hope but its floundering. Try talking to locals about doing your own B4RN (google it).
