What diameter clamp is it? And what year is it from (specifically is it pre-2015)?

Also, how much use has it seen?

Little use I'm told, I picked it up off a board member. Also told it is pre 2015.

Barely a mark on it and no visible issues

Thanks. I'm looking for post-2015 so it won't work for me unfortunately. Good luck with the sale.

    Eh?

How do Campag Front mechs pre 2015 differ? OK, so there was a new chainset brought out that allowed multiple chainring options, but the essence of the operation of the front mech wont have changed? All Campag 11s double chainring mechs should be compatible, so there should be no issue using a front mech that was sold on a bike with a compact chainset (50/34) on a bike with standard chainset (53/39) or a semi compact 52/36. Triple chainrings are a different matter, but as long as you have two chainrings up front, there should be an issue - unless my understanding is well off......

Cosmetics may have changed (though this one looks 'current'), but not function

That's not the case, function has changed.

Campag changed the pull ratio on their 11-speed levers and mechs in 2015. Pre-2015 levers/mechs are not compatible with post-2015 mechs/levers.

OK, I only ever considered this to be an issue when ensuring that shifters and REAR mech were of the same generation. My Record FD is far older than my 2015 shifters and I encounter no issues at all with shifting the front......

Maybe I'm just not registering an issue.

You live and learn. Thanks for the feedback
