Are you able to tell which gender wrote a piece of handwriting simply by looking at the style of handwriting?

Of course not. Generally female handwriting is a bit prettier and neater but of course theres at least a billion men and women who are exception to this rule so still no

Funnily enough I get a lot of compliments on my hand writing and people also often say I write like a girl

You can't tell the shape of an asshole by the size of the ****.

I have terrible handwriting, people can barely tell if it is human.

But I have a friend who has lovely handwriting and is an expert at copying other people's (mane and women) handwriting. A handy gift.

A lot of people say they can, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I can't say I've ever even noticed.

Sometimes but it's hard enough. I haven't done it often tough to be honest.
Does anybody know what hand wrtting would look like if somebody was transitioning from one gender to the other?

    One thing I do notice,

if there is capital letters when there shouldn't be, its generally male.
Just an observation i notice a lot.

    example.

"Yesterday I bought a Brand new car."

If the 'a' is like this, a girl wrote it.

I always thought I could, easily.

This thread is telling me I can't though.

French employers often still use 'graphology' when selecting candidates, i.e. analysing your handwriting to see what kind of person you are.

It's on a par with asking your Star sign but here we are in the 21st century and this ****e still goes on.

Oh, I don't know, it's probably as good at predicting what kind of person you are as the usual cringeworthy attempts at amateur psychology they try on at interviews these days.

Of course you can't tell the difference. Same way as people have confused notes which I have written with something my 9 year old has.

I think handwriting is a good guide.

I'm male and I like putting love hearts instead of dots on my 'i's

I cross the t's, dot the i's and put U in the middle.

I didn't dot the i on my fcuking logo though.

As I get older my handwriting has gotten very like my dad's, it's strange, he wouldn't have been any more involved in teaching me to write than my mam. He has very distinctive handwriting (mine's more legible thank feck). It wasn't anything conscious, just like once "school handwriting" faded away it was natural, only noticed it recently.

I've noticed people with very similar styles in my mam's extended family too, I'd say there is a genetic element.

Mine is real loopy and swirly.

My partner told me when she first saw that I write like somebody from the 19th century.

Female writing is much much clearer to read, due to the number of Dear John letters they have had to write! :D
Men havn't written so many letters as they just feck off without a word. :p

Randomly discarding 50% of CV's is a great way of avoiding hiring unlucky people.
