Hi, my sparky is telling me that my Fuseboard needs to be at 1.4m from bottom of Fuseboard to floor. Regs seem to say it can go to 2.25m from top of unit to ceiling. Has this changed or is he just trying to avoid relocating it?
    Thanks.

It can only be 2.25m to the top max from FFL.

If the distribution board is mounted less than 1.4m it must have restricted access (For kids and the odd dope like me)

So i would pick a metal DB for mechanical protection with a panel key.

    Question about flex regulation:

526.9.2 Joints are not permitted in flex.

If an array of lights are looped in flex at each fitting is this classed as a Joint?
