Paypal Button Help

VERY amateur designer here looking for some help. I’m trying to help my local GAA club setup a Paypal ‘Buy Now’ button on their Google Sites hosted webpage.
Paypal provide you with some HTML code to copy/paste in order to do this, but when I try pasting this into a HTML box using Google Sites it doesn’t appear on the page.

Now Google sites do have a Paypal gadget, which I have got to appear & it tests fine – but this only allows for payments via Paypal, wheres the code version from Paypal directly is supposed to allow payments via credit card also. Obviously this one would be the preference as it allows a greater range of payments.

Does anyone with more experience know where I’m going wrong here?

    Thanks!

For anyone who's interested (although it doesn't look like it! :D ) I did some more digging and it turns out that Google sites doesn't support the <form> tag that the Paypal code uses.

Sometimes the "pay with credit card" option is hard to see because PayPal would like people to sign up to PayPal. Is the "pay with credit card" option definitely *not* there?

If it isn't, is there a Google Sites setting that allows it to be shown?
