I thought the same, but the news article says that lever will “start to recover” after 7am.

Not a dribble off Donore Ave in D8 as of 8:31 this morning.

Such a basis thing can't be switched back on for a shower or to make a bowl of porridge before work???

9.26 am - no water at all in D6W - not a drop. Another spectacular failure by IW both to manage supply skilfully and to provide reliable information. This is not planned restriction, this is unplanned suspension of water supply and all the consequences that follow, including unsanitary conditions for householders. IW need to do a lot better than this if they are ever hope to establish even a modicum of credibility with their 'customers'.

The 7 - 7 thing is infuriating.  Clearly the mentality in IW is one of starting work at 9(ish), no problem if the water doesn't come back till 8 or so.  Don't worry about those poor fools who might be up at 6am.  What about Leo - isn't he an early riser?!

Still no water in D8 SCR - Dolphin's Barn

When is the service supposed to resume? Is it for the restrictions or is there any other problem?

    Hi,

Apologies for the delay in response as a result of the storm.

Water restrictions were in place in order to facilitate the replenishment of reservoir levels and pressure was reduced and some areas were affected by no water.

Supply began to return to the entire network as of 7am yesterday morning and any updates on this can be found on wtr.ie/News.

We're very sorry for the inconvenience this works caused.

    Thanks,
    Mairead
