    Hi folks,
Strangest thing this evening. Used actifry to do some chips left plugged out about two hours and it's suddenly started a high pitched whine. It's not plugged in. Left it out in the shed as was a bit head wrecking. Never had anything make an electrical noise when plugged out. Kinda afraid to plug it in. Any ideas what might be?
    Thanks,
    Mick

Only time I've ever heard of something like that is from working on PCs. Sometimes the capacitors hold charge for a good while after the PC has been switched off and can suffer capacitor squeal !

I'm absolutely no expert though and have no idea on the insides of an airfryer, but I'd be loathe to use it until you get it professionally checked out.
