Heading that way for Paddy's weekend with the kids and beech casters. Any areas good for digging lug and beech fishing. Thanks

Never dug bait there but I think the eastern (sheltered) side of the peninsula has good lug beds. The beaches on the western side are all good for flatties, sea trout (if you have a klicence ;) ) and the chance of a bass. Never fished any of the rock marks, and March may be a bit early for pollack anyway. Sea Angling Ireland website has a lot more info

Thanks. The lug worm were got at rossport just beside the slip way and the young fella landed a 12 inch bass first one mind you on the beech in carrowteige. Sent her back for sure.
