Plumbing Quote

I've been quoted €400 for the replacement of (1) the valve which switches between full heating and hot water heating, and (2) the pump. Both of these connect to my my back boiler. I don't know the specific names, so have attached a picture for reference. The valve is on the top left, pump in the middle at the bottom.

The plumber quoted a cost for the valve of €70 and the pump of €120, leaving labour costs of €210. This quote was completely off the cuff, as he was calling out about a different issue.

This price seems steep to me. Can anyone shed light on whether or not this is a realistic price, on the parts and labour fronts?

    Many thanks.

    Seems spot on to me.
It might have seemed off the cuff but we deal with these products every day, know their prices and have the experience to know what’s involved in fitting them
