Hi all,
Little bit of a strange question.
I'm working under casual work payment (up to 22.5 hrs) and I'm looking to go from this work (which isn't going anywhere) to doing an apprenticeship, because i can't get a job in a dying industry and want to make something of myself while I'm young and before kids are involved!!

Do you know if the welfare will allow it? Or what the conditions and rules are about leaving work to go to education??
I'm going to have to do a 3 month access course first, and I'm worried that the welfare will go ballistic about it.
