Recommendation for s single built in electric oven

Ok so I've had a Miele built in for several years and spent good amount of money on it. Loved it and no complaints, but during a recent pyrolitic clean the inner glass shattered.

I believe my daughter dropped something on the glass the week before, so I'm guessing it weakened or fractured it.

Issue now is that the inner glass is nearly €350 to replace and on an older oven out of warranty, I'm thinking of replacing the whole unit.

so, not wanting to break the bank again, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations ? A cleaning cycle would be preferable, obviously fan and has to be electric. Longer the warranty the better.

    any thoughts ?

If you could afford a Miele oven then maybe you should be looking at a Neff. Personally, I wouldn't buy anything Miele other than a washing machine - 'horses for courses' and all that. I understand the marketing logic behind the dreaded 'leveraging the brand' strategy but I literally dont buy it.

I have a Neff single over, it has fan, top and bottom conventional heating elements, self-cleaning (that pyro stuff you mentioned) and the door folds into the body. Only had to replace the bulb since 2011 so very satisfied.

Thanks, I was looking at a Neff yesterday, but the cheapest one I saw (not exhaustive) was nearly €800 and I really didn't want to spend that much if i could help it. Original oven was more expensive that that, but I'm only ever there weekends these days, so not sure it justifies it.

I am very happy with our Electrolux oven. Have it 10 years now, still going strong. It has catalytic liners as opposed to pyroclean though. Current ones are about 400-450, if that's in your budget.

As an aside, how old is your Miele? If it's only a couple of years old, maybe it'd be worth changing the glass. Have you shopped around for the replacement glass?

There's a Neff single oven on Harvey Norman's website for €524....

same model on Power City for €525 ....

    https://www.powercity.ie/product/B14M42N

It's €550 on Currys but you can get 10% off by using a discount code which would drop the price to €495 (ends March 12th) ....

The oven is about 7 years old and the best quote I have for the inner glass is €350 !, so not worth it really.
