Older 5008, 10-15k

    Looking at possibly getting a 5008 in the next while. Budget of 10-15k would get me around a 2013 model. Any recommendations of which engine + spec to go for?

    We have a 2010 5008, 150k miles on the clock, 1.6 Diesel, think its a sport, but wearing very well, so no problem recommending them, local garage serviced from 2 years old, HUGE bugbear is absence of cup holders. Nice enough to drive with that engine, sporty enough and very comfy, tons of space in the back with rearmost seats down, almost none with seats up.

    Have you considered 13+ Grand Picasso ? 
    It is based on newer platform and interior design is much fresher. Engine+gearboxes are same between them.

    Have't ruled anything out - open to any 7 seaters with 3 full seats on the middle row. Just thought the 5008 would have more space? Would be interested in the galaxy/smax/alhambra but don't think I'd find anything decent for my budget

    Pre-17 5008, C4 Grand Picasso, VW Touran, Opel Zafira are competing MPV class models size wise with 3 full seats in middle row.

    Galaxy, Alhambra, Sharan are called full size MPVs and offers more space for 7 people and larger boot than the ones above.

    If you need to carry more than 5 people regularly, it makes sense to stretch to a full size MPV even it is an older model
