How do I set up bridging mode between Huawei & TP-Link routers?

    Hello.
I'm hoping that someone could offer some advice about my networking problem.
I have Vodafone broadband with wifi delivered by a Huawei HG659 modem/router. This works fine. This connects to the phone socket in the hallway.

Recently i got a s/h windows 10 PC and have it in my room. This has no wifi card so I am trying to set up a wi-fi bridge using a TP Link WR841N router connected to my PC via the LAN cable wifi-ing down to the Huawei in the hallway to connect into the internet.

I've set up WDS bridging on the TP Link according to the instructions on the TP Link website. It finds the Huawei, matches the SSID, password etc but it won't connect to the internet still.
Can anyone advise my what I might be missing or doing wrong here as I've run the set-up several times and no joy yet.

I'm also now wondering if i could connect the TP Link into the phone socket in the bedroom and effectively clone the Huawei connections settings into the TP link to have a second hard wired internet connection to my broadband. Can you do this? Can 2 routers connect to the same broadband account at the same time?
