Venues for Roughly 150 People

    Hi guys,

    I'm just wondering if you have any venue recommendations for roughly 150 people within an hour's drive of Dublin. There are too many venues to choose from!

    What sort of venue and requirements have do you have in mind.

    Sorry for the late reply. I don't have any real requirements. The only thing we don't really want is any of the older country places. I was at a wedding at Luttrellstown Castle and really didn't think much of it. It was a swanky place but lacked atmosphere I found.

    A lot of venues around. off the top of my head...Trudder lodge, the millhouse, ballymagarvey, ballybeg, brooklodge, rathsallagh, martinstown, durhamstown castle, station house, clonabreany.

    Millhouse is fab! Looked at it myself but couldn't fulfill their requirements.

    We got married in Tulfarris in Blessington with 150 guests. We loved the venue and were very well looked after.

    I was looking there for a party size of 50 people max. They start 60 off season mid week and your party size needs to be even bigger on weekends or peak season.
    Not a problem for you in that case.
