Bleeding radiators after long time without them working

My heating hasn’t worked for a month, I’m in an apartment block not in ireland.

The caretaker done something outside the apartment that looks to have fixed it.

However the bleeding of my radiators is lining up to be a “dances with wolves” epic. Looks like it could take hours. I’m only still doing one radiator and there’s no let up in the greenish water coming out of the rad and it’s been an hour... anyone know what’s going on here

If you have water coming out, why are you bleeding them? The green colour could be an antifreeze.

There's supposed to be water in radiators. 'Bleeding' is the removal of excess air, not draining all the water.

Are you trying to drain your radiators empty for some reason? Do the radiators work?

I’m not sure the radiators work, they haven’t been up to now but there was signs of life today after the caretaker switched on something in the box outside the apartment. When the radiators worked they worked regardless if I switched them on or not. Came on I guess according to the outside temperature.

For the moment I’ll do nothing and observe over the next 24 hrs..thanks
