so I was having an issue with the handle of my loo, where it kept skipping the flush - so I was lifting the cistern to pull the yoke up to make it flush (I could literally make the handle do a full circle!)........so that's problem one (what's this yoke called - I think it's the cistern lever?? but do I need to replace the whole flush handle, etc) - then in the height of it, I dropped the bloody cistern lid - so where would I get one of those (it's a Shires 805 / 815).........

Mac's salvage in Islandbridge might have a lid to suit. You'll need to bring the old one with you to match it up.

If you post a photo of the inside of the cistern you have a better chance of getting advice. It could be as simple as handle might need tightening.
